In this workshop, participants will gain an overview of the issues and perspectives involved in the technical and creative work of a sound technician or designer in a theatrical production today.

Using concrete examples of productions, we will look at the themes and stages of the work, including rehearsals and the keys to creating an original sound universe: the use of microphones, live sound recording, field recording, musical elements, performers and actors on stage.
